Zumars Seller Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Zumars — a U.S.-based Global online marketplace connecting buyers and sellers globally. These Seller Terms & Conditions (“Terms”, “Agreement”) govern your access to and use of the Zumars Seller Platform and related services provided by Zumars LLC (“Zumars”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By registering as a Seller or listing any product on Zumars, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Definition

Seller / Vendor: Any individual or business registered to sell products on Zumars.

  1. Buyer: Any individual or entity purchasing from Zumars.
  2. Product(s): Any goods, merchandise, or items listed for sale.
  3. Order: A confirmed purchase by a Buyer via the Zumars platform.
  4. Zumars Platform: The Zumars website, mobile app, and related services.
  5. Delivery App: The Zumars logistics or third-party delivery service integrated into the platform.

2. Seller Eligibility & Account

  1. You must be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.
  2. You must provide accurate, truthful, and verifiable information during registration.
  3. You must maintain updated contact, payment, and business information at all times.
  4. Zumars reserves the right to verify your identity or request additional documentation.

3. Product Listings & Quality Standards

Authenticity:

  1. All products listed must be genuine, authentic, and not counterfeit.
  2. Misrepresentation or sale of fake goods will result in immediate account and shop termination, potential legal action, and forfeiture of funds in your seller wallet.

Product Descriptions:

  1. Listings must include accurate titles, clear descriptions, correct pricing, detailed specifications, and high-quality images that represent the actual product.
  2. Misleading or deceptive listings are strictly prohibited.

Quality Control:

  1. Products must meet all quality, safety, and regulatory standards applicable in the U.S. and other countries you sell to.
  2. Zumars reserves the right to inspect or remove listings that fail to meet these standards.

Prohibited Items:

  1. No sale of illegal, restricted, expired, unsafe, or prohibited items.
  2. Sellers are responsible for knowing and adhering to all import/export laws.

4. Orders, Packaging & Shipping

Order Fulfilment:

  1. Sellers must process and ship all confirmed orders within 48 hours of receiving payment confirmation.
  2. Failure to fulfil orders promptly may result in penalties or account suspension.

Packaging:

  1. Sellers must ensure that products are securely and professionally packaged to prevent damage during transit.
  2. Packaging must be clean, tamper-proof, and compliant with Zumars’ packaging standards.

Shipping:

  1. Sellers are responsible for arranging shipment through Zumars’ delivery app or approved carriers or the ones they choose at their own discretion.
  2. Sellers are responsible for shipping their products to their customers after product purchase.
  3. Sellers must comply with Zumars Shipping Policy regarding timelines, cost transparency, and carrier tracking.

Tracking Number Requirement:

  1. A valid tracking number must be uploaded to Zumars via vendor dashboard within 48 hours of shipment.
  2. Failure to provide tracking may result in order cancellation, refund issuance, or account penalties.

Delivery Confirmation:

  1. Once an item is delivered and confirmed by the Buyer or courier, the transaction will be considered complete.

5. Returns, Refunds & Disputes

  1. Sellers must comply with the Zumars 14-Day Return & Refund Policy.
  2. Returned products must be inspected and processed promptly upon receipt.
  3. Sellers are responsible for refunding Buyers if products are defective, incorrect, or not as described.
  4. Zumars reserves the right to mediate disputes and make final determinations on refunds where necessary.

6. Prohibited Conduct & Fraud Prevention

Fraudulent Activity:

  1. Any attempt to manipulate orders, reviews, pricing, or platform data is strictly prohibited.
  2. Fraud includes, but is not limited to: fake sales, counterfeit products, false shipment confirmations, or use of multiple fake accounts.

Consequences:

  1. Any fraudulent act will result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your seller account and store.
  2. Funds may be withheld or permanently forfeited if fraud, policy violation, or customer harm is detected.
  3. Zumars may report serious violations to relevant authorities.

7. Commissions, Fees & Payouts

  1. Zumars charges a commission on each successful sale.
  2. The commission rate and service fees are disclosed during onboarding or via your seller dashboard.
  3. Seller payouts are made after order completion and expiration of the return period.
  4. Payouts occurs two times every month: on 14th and 28th of every month within completed delivery cycle.
  5. Any chargebacks, refunds, or disputes may delay payout release.

8. Delivery App Integration

  1. Zumars’ integrated delivery app coordinates pickups and deliveries for sellers and buyers.
  2. Sellers must ensure product readiness within the timeframe agreed with delivery partners.
  3. Repeated delivery issues caused by sellers (e.g., missing packages, delayed handovers) may lead to account restrictions or penalties.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

  1. Sellers must not upload images, logos, or content that infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
  2. Zumars reserves the right to remove infringing listings and suspend accounts upon notice or verified claim.

10. Termination & Account Suspension

Zumars reserves the right to suspend or terminate your seller account without prior notice if you:

  1. Upload fake or low-quality products.
  2. Engage in fraud, deception, or policy violations.
  3. Fail to fulfill or ship orders on time.
  4. Receive excessive complaints, chargebacks, or poor ratings.
  5. Violate local or international trade laws.

In such cases, Zumars may also withhold funds, cancel active orders, and close your seller account permanently, reported to International Criminal Police Organisation, which may remain in your records.

11. Limitation of Liability

  1. Zumars is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
  2. Sellers are solely responsible for their products, descriptions, and customer transactions.
  3. Zumars acts only as an intermediary platform and is not a party to individual sales contracts between Buyers and Sellers.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America, specifically the New York City.

Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts in that state.

13. Updates to Terms

Zumars may modify these Terms periodically. Updates will be posted on our website or app and notified via email.

Continued use of the platform after any modification means you accept the revised Terms.

Welcome to Zumars, a  marketplace connecting buyers and sellers globally. These Buyer Terms & Conditions (“Terms”, “Agreement”) govern your access to and use of the Zumars website, mobile app, and related services (“Service”).

By registering, ordering, or using Zumars as a Buyer, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Definitions

2. Buyer Account & Registration

  1. You must be 18 years or older (or legal adult in your jurisdiction).
  2. You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering.
  3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  4. Notify Zumars immediately of unauthorized access or account misuse.

3. Placing Orders

  1. All orders are subject to Seller approval, availability, and Zumars platform policies.
  2. Prices include applicable taxes, unless otherwise indicated.
  3. Payment must be completed via Zumars-approved methods.
  4. You will receive confirmation via email/app once the order is successfully placed.

4. Payment & Pricing

  1. Payments are processed through trusted payment gateways.
  2. By placing an order, you authorize Zumars or its payment processors to charge your selected payment method.
  3. Zumars reserves the right to cancel orders if payment cannot be processed.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  1. Shipping timelines are based on Seller location and chosen delivery method:
  2. Domestic (U.S. UK): 3–10 business days
  3. International: 7–21 business days
  4. Tracking numbers will be provided by Sellers via Zumars platform.
  5. Buyers must provide accurate shipping addresses. Incorrect addresses may result in delays or order cancellation.
  6. Zumars is not responsible for delays due to customs, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.

6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

  1. Zumars offers a 14-day return policy for eligible products.
  2. Products must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging with tags attached.
  3. Non-returnable items include: personalized items, final sale items, hygiene products, and intimate apparel (if seal broken).
  4. To initiate a return:
  5. Log in → My Orders → Request Return
  6. Provide reason and photos (if applicable)
  7. Follow instructions for return shipment
  8. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method or Zumars Wallet Credit. Processing may take 5–14 business days after Seller inspection.
  9. Order cancellations may only occur before shipping. Once shipped, a return request must be submitted per policy.

7. Buyer Responsibilities

  1. Provide accurate personal and shipping information.
  2. Inspect received products and report issues promptly (within 48–72 hours).
  3. Avoid misuse of the platform, including fraudulent chargebacks or false claims.
  4. Follow Zumars’ guidelines for returns, disputes, and reviews.

8. Dispute Resolution

  1. If issues arise with a product, delivery, or Seller:
  2. Submit a dispute via My Orders → Report Issue.
  3. Include all relevant evidence (photos, videos, receipts).
  4. Zumars Resolution Team will review and provide a solution within 3–5 business days.
  5. Zumars may offer a refund, replacement, or partial refund based on evidence.
  6. Escalated disputes may be referred to payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, etc.) under buyer protection policies.

9. Intellectual Property & Reviews

  1. Buyer-generated content (reviews, photos, comments) grants Zumars a worldwide, royalty-free license to use and display for promotional or marketplace purposes.
  2. Do not upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.

10. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  1. Place fraudulent orders or use stolen payment methods.
  2. Manipulate reviews or ratings.
  3. Use the platform for illegal activities or violate laws.
  4. Harass Sellers or other users.

11. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

  1. Zumars acts as a marketplace platform, not the Seller. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of Products.
  2. Zumars is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  3. Product delivery, customs, or unforeseen delays are beyond Zumars’ control.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  1. These Terms are governed by U.S. law.
  2. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of that state, unless otherwise required by local law.

13. Changes to Terms

  1. Zumars may update these Terms periodically.
  2. Notification will be provided via email or app.
  3. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of new Terms.

ZUMARS – VAT & Tax Policy

1. Introduction

This VAT & Tax Policy explains how Value Added Tax (VAT), Sales Tax, Import Duties, and related charges are managed on ZUMARS (“the Marketplace”).

All vendors selling on ZUMARS must comply with tax laws in their regions and any destination country they ship to.

By using ZUMARS as a seller or buyer, you agree to the terms outlined in this VAT Policy.

2. Marketplace Role

ZUMARS is a Global Online Marketplace platform, not a seller.

ZUMARS does not:

  1. Own vendor products
  2. Act as the seller of record
  3. Collect VAT on vendor products

Instead, ZUMARS acts as an intermediary connecting buyers and independent vendors.

Therefore:

  1. Vendors set VAT rates on their own products
  2. Vendors remit VAT in their own country
  3. ZUMARS only charges VAT on platform fees

3. VAT on Vendor Products

3.1 Vendor Responsibility

Vendors selling on ZUMARS must:

  1. Know their local VAT/Sales Tax requirements
  2. Apply the correct VAT rate in their ZUMARS vendor dashboard
  3. Remit VAT to their own tax authority
  4. Observe destination-country tax rules when shipping internationally

3.2 VAT Examples

Examples of VAT/Sales Tax rates vendors may need to apply:

  1. Nigeria: 7.5% VAT
  2. UK: 20% VAT
  3. EU: 17% – 27% VAT (varies by country)
  4. USA: 0% – 10.25% sales tax (depending on state)
  5. Canada: 5% – 15% GST/HST/PST

4. Import Duties & Customs Charges

When vendors ship internationally, buyers may be required to pay:

  1. Import VAT
  2. Customs duties
  3. Clearing or handling fees

Some vendors may charge these at checkout.

If not, the courier will collect them during delivery.

5. ZUMARS VAT Responsibilities

ZUMARS only collects VAT on fees charged to vendors, including:

  1. Commission fees
  2. Subscription plans
  3. Advertising fees
  4. Withdrawal fees
  5. Administrative service charges

ZUMARS does not remit VAT for vendor product sales.

6. Buyer Information

Prices shown on product pages may include or exclude VAT depending on the vendor’s settings.

Any additional import charges will be communicated before checkout or by the courier.

7. Policy Updates

ZUMARS may update this VAT policy to reflect changes in tax laws. Vendors are responsible for staying informed.
